Loaded Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

This is not a bread made from scratch but this is surely a delicious bread. I'm not really a fan of baking bread from scratch as it takes forever. This time, I just got a bread and filled it with garlic, pesto, ham, cheese, and butter.

Start by melting the butter over low heat with the garlic. When the butter starts to bubble a little, turn off the heat and leave it to let the garlic continue to infuse with the butter.

Cut the bread horizontally and vertically into 4 to 5 1-inch sections taking care not cutting the bottom crust as this would keep the bread together. Spread the pesto in between the slices of bread.

Stick sliced mozzarella cheeses and ham into the spaces. Place some ham on the top of the bread. I tried placing a piece on each slice and tucked in the remaining into the bread. Drizzle the melted butter and garlic all over the bread. Season with salt and pepper.

Finally, top with some grated cheddar cheese or gruyere cheese. Toast in a 350ºF oven for about 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is all melted and slightly brown.

Just look at the cheese oozing out of the slices! Serve immediately. Reheat leftovers just until cheese melts.
